THINGS TO SEE AND DO

There’s plenty to do at Rivendell and surrounding Summit County, winter and summer.

In winter, you can hike or cross-country ski on mountain trails or visit one of the world-class downhill ski resorts in the Silverthorne area. Or go snowmobiling, toboganning, sleighing, or ice skating. After all that, you’ll enjoy warming up with hot cocoa around the fireplace.

In summer, you can hike or bike the mountain trails, play golf, take a gold mine tour, go boating or kayaking, Of course, you can always just relax on the spacious wraparound porch with a cool drink in one hand and the latest bestselling novel in the other!

Look closely and you’re likely to see hummingbirds, blue jays, and our local red-tailed fox, who will come right up on the porch. You might even glimpse a bald eagle soaring across the sky!

Rivendell is located approximately 2 miles from the town of Silverthorne www.silverthorne.com, where you’ll find plenty of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
